Thanksgiving in Wyoming!

Hello everybody!  This is my first official post on our new blog. (this is Kaile)  Thanksgiving this year was in Wyoming with the Myricks.  We enjoyed the whole week that we got off for school and the relaxation that followed.  We had some extended family come up from Las Vegas and with a couple of Grandmas, we had a full house.  It appears also, that I am incapable of enjoying a vacation without having a massive canker sore in my mouth during any given holiday.  (I am writing this during our Christmas break and you guessed it, I have a canker sore now too)  I think it is voluntary pain, I like to eat oranges and it just so happens that the citric acid can cause canker sores.  Oh well.  

During the Thanksgiving break we enjoyed a couple games of Risk (I'm still the reigning champ, much to Rustin's dislike) went spotlighting for rabbits, played some mad guitar hero, and Cambria shot her first gun!  It was a .22 cal pistol.  She liked it so much that she went on to shoot a couple bigger guns including a 9mm and a .223 pistol called a "Thomson Contender."  That last one is one of the huge guns you see the hero of old west movies carry around when they need to kill the giant grizzly bear.  We had a lovely time and enjoyed my family's company while resting and getting ready for finals.  

For those considering vacationing to Wyoming, we recommend it to anyone if you want to get away from it all.  Its very peaceful, but if you don't like the cold, don't go in the winter.  We love you all and we'll report on our Christmas fun shortly, including our cruise to puerto viarta.
