I know it's not Halloween yet... but it is time for Halloween decorations and Halloween cookies! I wanted to start a Halloween Phantom around our apartment complex so I made ghost and black cat sugar cookies and delivered them to 2 unsuspecting neighbors... It was a lot of fun! On Saturday, Kaile and I are going to a Ward Halloween Party. We are going to go as nerds and we are both really excited.
I just wanted to say that my mom is the best! She sent us a Halloween Package with all sorts of goodies in it! I got Halloween socks, a scarecrow door hanging, cookie cutters, and other treats and Halloween items. My mom came up for Mother's Weekend at BYU-I about 2 weeks ago and we had such a great time together. We went shopping, got my haircut, I showed her all around campus, we went out to eat, went to some really good seminars and a cultural performance. I am always so sad when I leave my family after seeing them in Salt Lake or when they have to leave after being up here in Rexburg. I miss them all so much, and I always cry when they leave! Kaile and I are going to be up in Wyoming for Thanksgiving so I won't be seeing them until Christmas!
School is going really well. It was midterms so we have had a lot of tests and papers due but we both survived. I have to take this hard algebra test online by the end of the semester in order to pass my elementary math teaching class and studying for it is killing me! I hate math! I really love my major though and after this class I will never have to do "hard" math again. I am really looking forward to being a teacher, I changed my major from Elementary Education to Early Childhood and Special Education and my next semester is going to be really fun!
Other news, Kaile got a job in Idaho Falls working with children with autism and other behavioral issues. He likes everything but the 30 minute drive every day. He is so patient and good. He really cares about people and I am so proud of him for going into the field he chose. Being a counselor/therapist is not an easy job, but he is great at it!

It sounds so fun! What a great time in your life! I am glad you are embracing it so wholeheartedly! I remember my first holiday when I was married and I cried when I left Grandma's house to go to Dave's parents. It gets easier. Have fun and we will see you at Christmas!
