Christmas, New Years, and the Mexican Riviera!

Our first Christmas/ New Years as a married couple was amazing! We got to spend 3 weeks in Utah and go on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera! Thank you Santa! It was great to live at home again... I didn't have to cook, clean, or do any homework. It was also great because Salt Lake is definitely warmer that Rexburg also known as Iceburg! I had a great time Christmas shopping and going to lunch with mom and Canessa. Kaile and I worked for my Dad to earn some extra money.  Kaile enjoyed his first Christmas morning fish breakfast. My mom and sister and I went to the basket loft after christmas sale and I got my first nativity scene and some cute stockings!
Kaile and I  also had a great New Years. We went to Red Robin with Jackie and Craig Altom and then played Wii and catch phrase with a big group of friends. The next morning my arm hurt so bad from playing Wii tennis... I was seriously sore for 2 days!
For Christmas Santa got us plane tickets to California, so we didn't have to drive in the huge white van for 12 hours! Everyone made it on the plane and on the boat and as a family we enjoyed 7 days of fun in the sun!
We ate all the time! We went swimming, sliding, and hot tubing. We went to fabulous shows almost every night and did I mention that we ate all the time! We also got the cutest towel animals and mint in our room everyday!

Our first port was Cabo San Lucas. We spent the day at the beach... swimming, sun tanning, and haggling with the people that want to sell you stuff.

Our second port was Mazatlan. We took a boat over to Stone Island where we surfed, rented a 4 wheeler,  and ate the best mexican salsa ever. It was Kaile's birthday when we were in Mazatlan and he ran out to surf before he put any sunscreen on so his birthday present was a awful sunburn!

Our third stop was Puerto Vallarta. Kaile, Carter, Colin and I all went on a shore excursion called the Outdoor adventure. We took a speed boat across the bay, a huge yellow jeep/ hummer thingy through the jungle, donkeys up the mountain and then did a series of 9 zip-lines through the tress and repelled down a waterfall. We had the time of our lives! Then it was back down the mountain, across the bay and onto the ship. Bart, Canessa, Mom and Dad had already done the adventure on a previous cruise so they rented a boat and went snorkeling and deep sea fishing. My dad even caught a tuna! The saw whales and had a great time!

As we made our way back to Los Angeles we played "scum" every night and saw these amazing chinese acrobats that were so flexible. We had an amazing time. Thanks Mom & Dad

We got back on Saturday the 10th of January and Kaile and I left for Rexburg the next morning. I cried for 30 minutes after we left... Kaile didn't know I could cry so much :) Now we are just back in the routine of school and work. Kaile is off track so he is working full time and I am taking a lot of hard classes so its nice to not have to have a job. I also now have 3 church callings... Temple Patron, Primary Secretary and Enrichment Committee to keep me busy.
We love you all and miss you/ Cambria & Kaile

Cambria! I miss you so much! It sounds like your cruise was so much fun! I know how you feel about going back to Rexburg, it has been really hard to come back to San Diego. I haven't started school yet and because of the economy, I haven't been able to work as much as I'd like to. Call me and I'll call you today to chat! Love you!
