So it hit me today as we were driving back to Rexburg from our Fourth of July fun in Wyoming that it was our last road-trip without a baby... Can you say crazy! My due date keeps getting closer and closer but my mind keeps putting labor and delivery farther and farther from the front of my mind. Don't get me wrong I am ready for my little guy to get here... I have the car seat, the crib, the clothes, and the diapers, but the process of getting him here is a little scary... make that a lot scary! Whenever anyone asks me when I am due and if I am ready I sheepishly say "Im not thinking about it until after the semester gets over." Well that line is soon not going to work anymore because the semester is over in 2 weeks and then I will be forced to think about it and I will probably panic! So... if anyone has any words of advice or comfort for me I would love to hear them:)

RELAX - Have faith. It will all work out just fine. Take it a day at a time. Prenatal classes will prepare you mentally and physically also. . . . Love You!
Prenatal classes are really great! If you're able to enroll that helps a lot. If not, most hospitals let you tour the maternity unit. I'm laughing inside, because I went in several times and got sent home before actually having Olivia..so I knew kind of what to expect and where I was going. But honestly, I had a really great experience when I had Olivia. They take so well care of you and make you as comfortable as they possibly can. Call me if you need to just talk, but really, it is the most amazing experience and you will do great!! I can't wait for him to come!
Having children was the best thing I ever did.
Yes, the labor and delivery is a bit scary just because you haven't done it before and it is new. Kind of like going to a new school or ward. But there will be lots of doctors and nurses that will help you all the way. Ask lots of questions so that you know what they are doing.
Just remember to BREATHE!!!!! Don't get so stressed that you forget to breath. It makes everything better.
Ready or not......here he comes!!!
Love you tons....miss you more.

Hi Cambria! Don't even worry about it... that's the beauty of epidurals! When it's all done you'll have a beautiful baby boy and you won't even think about the labor. Good luck during these last two weeks of school. It was fun to see you at the wedding (even if only for a minute). Can't wait to meet this little guy!
If you are having an epidural, all I have to say is I would do that part of the pregnancy any day. The delivery was one of the most spiritual experiences of my life. I'm so excited for you! And I do agree on the prenatal classes - if you can't sign up for one, then go online and try to find some. It really helps for the contractions before the epidural.
I personally like denial :)
Cambria! You will do wonderful. Make sure you are (somewhat:)) prepared with diapers, clothes, wipes, the very basics before you get too much further. You will be such a sweet mother! I cannot wait to see pictures of this little babe. As far as labor goes, I didn't take a class and honestly now, I am glad I didn't spend the money. It is such a natural and exciting thing, your body just knows what to do and there will plenty of nurses and doctor around. Don't read too many books and magazines- those horror stories only make it worse. Tell Kaile you two need to go on a couple more AWESOME dates in the next couple weeks before it isn't just the two of you anymore. If you have any questions- email me! mckensienaomi@gmail.com
