Miss Mailey is 5 months old!!! She is growing so fast and is an absolute delight. I am so lucky to be her mama:) She is very cuddly and sweet. She is happy to just be a part of the family. She will sit content on my lap and loves to watch her crazy brother run all over the house She is eating great and sleeping great. She eats 8,12, 4 and 8 with rice cereal in the morning and night. She has 2 naps 10 to 12 and 2 to 4 with a cat nap in the evening if needed. She has been sleeping from 8pm to 8am at night!!! we only had to let her cry it out for about 15 minutes 2 nights in a row and now she is sleeping through the night. I am so happy and I don't feel like a zombie anymore:) As I said she started rice cereal and is slowly but surely getting to be a good eater. She loves to sit up and stand (both with help). Her little blonde hair is coming in more and more and her smile lights up the whole room. She is a daddy's girl for sure. Kaile is so sweet with her and loves to try and make her giggle.
Brecken is my tornado of a 3 and a half year old. He has been potty trained since August and likes to tell me what to do... He is so charming and inquisitive. He is in the questioning everything stage and its very cute (most of the time). He loves his preschool and wants to play with friends everyday. He is loving Ninja Turtles and fighting and swords. He usually has 2 swords down the back of his shirt and a gun or two in the sides of his pants throughout the day. He loves books and is starting to point out letters he knows. Some of the cute things he is saying right now are: mac and roni instead of macaroni and cheese, these are my weapons, look... they are matching(anything that is the same color), don'tcha wanna play with me, Dahddy, and peas and carrots.
He is also reminding us (me and Kaile) to not say stupid or freaking... we are working on it:) those words just sound so terrible when your innocent 3 year old starts using them.
He started sunbeams at our church and did really great. He loves to sing and his favorite songs are"Families can be together forever" and the teenage mutant(mootant) ninja turtles theme song:)
Kaile just started tri 5 at Logan Chiropractic College. He is doing very well and somehow manages to get good grades, work part time, and be a good dad and husband. We both can't believe we are almost half way finished!!!
I am happy at home with my two kiddos... most days I feel like my life is on repeat but I really do enjoy it. I know that dirty diapers, tantrums, baby baths, story time and playing ninjas wont last forever so I have to make the most of it right now because one day I will miss it.
