Memorial Day

For Memorial Day we went to Wyoming to spend time with the Myrick side. We left thursday at around 4 and hit a blizzard going through Yellowstone. The downside, we had to spend the night in our car in Cooke City just outside of Yellowstone... the upside we saw lots of buffalo and elk...

Brecken was a trooper and Kaile is an excellent driver so we were safe but honestly why was it snowing at the end of May!?! We made it to Powell on Friday at 7 am and then hit the hay because we had such a sleepless night.

Actually happy in his car seat!

On Sunday we went to the Lovell and Powell Cemeteries and to put flowers on Kaile's Grandpas graves. Grandpa Wagner died while Kaile was on his mission and Grandpa Myrick died in February. We weren't able to make it to either of their funerals so it was nice to be able to pay our respects to them.

4 Generations of Myricks

While we were in Wyoming Brecken had a blast with all of Grandma Myrick's fun toys and his cute cousin Brooklin. The weather wasn't to good so we stayed inside a lot.

We had great food all weekend long and so much fun playing games with everyone. Wade made his killer ribs before we left and then we took a family picture minus Kassidi, Brandon, Hazel, Ole, Andy and Rustin.

So fun! I love the 4 generation picture-they always make me so happy! And I'm starting to wonder if the messy face from ribs is a Craigo thing...I swear I'm always trying to get something off of Colin's face! ;)

I can't believe that you had to sleep in the car...how terrible. I am glad that you were safe.
